Hey, I’m Nelly🌺 - The dreamer, designer, and heart behind Silky Sunset™. Jewelry has always been my love language, but I wanted more than sparkle; I wanted soul. Something that could hold a feeling, a season, a memory.
Why:
Silky Sunset™ was born from my obsession with summer: the warmth, the glow, the golden hour magic 🌅. Even when I’m wrapped in frosty layers of winter or stuck in a boring work environment or classroom, my mind drifts to sunlit skies and breezy evenings. So I created jewelry that captures that vibe; pieces that feel like sunshine ☀️ you can wear. Every “Silky” design is a little love letter to summer, made to glow with you all year long 💕.
When:
Silky Sunset™ was born on the day I was; a birthday launch that felt like destiny. That morning, the sky blushed in soft hues of pink and gold, like it knew something beautiful was on the verge of beginning. 🩷 I remember the scent of hibiscus scented candles, flickering in my room, the hum of my summer playlist (really my everyday playlist if we're being honest) in the background, and the quiet thrill of clicking “publish” on a dream. It wasn’t just a brand launch. It was a ✨ soul launch ✨. The same day I came into the world, so did this little piece of sunshine. With each passing year & the support of sunnies, Silky Sunset™ will glow a little brighter.
